It is a great joy to extend our heartfelt thanks for your enthusiastic support to make our first event of ACEHK YMC Mentorship Programme 2018 a success with full-house participation on 19 July 2018.The ACEHK YMC Mentorship Programme 2018 was the first event organized by the ACEHK YMC to create a connection and provide a platform to introduce young members from the industry to more experienced members in an informal setting. The event was successfully launched by the Welcoming Speeches by our Co-Chair Samantha Kong and Linus Yau, Opening Speeches by ACEHK Honorary Secretary Ir David Chang and ACEHK Deputy Honorary Secretary and YMC Advisor Ir Eric Lau. All participants enjoyed the evening.We were also very pleased to have our ACEHK Council Members Ir Kenneth Li and Julian Tyson to support the event. We altogether had 9 mentors from various member companies: Davis Lee (Arup), Gerald Lee (Mott MacDonald), Antony Wong (SMEC), Eric Lo (Aurecon), Peter Wong (Arup), Christina Ko (Black & Veatch), Gavin Lau (Aurecon), Raymond Cheung (Mott MacDonald), Rody Yan (Atkins) and Peter Chan (Atkins), sharing valuable experiences to our mentees.There will be more events organized by ACEHK YMC in the coming months to promote the engineering industry to the young engineers and the society.
